Just over half way through the season and given their better goal difference, they could afford to lose their next eight games and we would need to win all of them before we overtook them. Sports Republic certainly know how to run a football club in style.

Realistic expectations given their individual wages should be top four at least. They are consistently embarrassed by players earning a fraction but with much more commitment.

Criminal that - letting Ballard go - and replacing him with Damion Downs. He'd have done a good job at this level. Way too many bad decisions being made by this club. The board are as inept as the manager. Mr Bean replaced the awful Manning with Archer, a striker, because we badly needed another goal. Yet he waited until the 89th minute to do so. Why? Just... why?

| Quite Astonishing given our close season spending. on 17:24 - Jan 17 with 1077 views | GRIM | We are closer to the relegation spots than we are to play offs. And the way we are playing it's quite possible we'll be relegated. It just gets worse every week. | | | |

The Skates are only 5 points behind with 2 games in hand and just one place above the drop zone

| Quite Astonishing given our close season spending. on 18:39 - Jan 17 with 943 views | Southamptonfan | It's absolutely astonishing Saintmark and it shows what a shambles this club has become. Too young, Too inexperienced, a yes man we said. And it's not difficult to predict. Managers who have never played the game, never managed before or both are well out of their depth, not respected and surprise surprise they don't know what they are doing. We will do a Luton and be relegated to League one with this lot in charge. Lots of chants against SR today, but still some people just sat there and a few clapping half arsed performances. Do.they enjoy smiling and clapping after another defeat? Do they not care or are they just day trippers or Pompey fans? Why say well done to.utter failure?. The protest need to ramp up. Amd f@ck.me, how terrible was our new goalkeeper!!! | |

I very much doubt it Right now I can only see one outcome, relegation either this season or next and the only way they sell up is when they've sold off the last asset of any value and then cut their losses I don't know what's more misguided, the owners making the same decisions time after time, or me hoping for a different outcome on a match day [Post edited 17 Jan 18:58]
