Just because they are a small club don’t be fooled by the fact they also cynically cheated the rules.
Their fans can’t stand us. Any memories of us putting coins in buckets for them in 1997 are long gone.

As I've said elsewhere - seems an age ago now - I'd have much preferred Brighton to have got (get) that 6th spot next weekend which is also hard to swallow (I still say we are the biggest South Coast club), but Bmouth just sticks in the back of the throat for some reason and I want them to suffer but it seems now that they probably are an established Prem club. A bit like we were 8-10 years ago and look where we are now! |  |

It may be dressed in mild terms and it's 'little old Bournemouth' but they made it through to their present position by gross cheating. The owner knew the club were breaking the rules, forking out the millions for quality players etc, and must have foreseen and been prepared to pay the pathetic fines because he did just that without a quibble. The kick backs have been well worth it - cheating was certainly a calculated and sure gamble here. |  |

Agreed. Love the way a tiny club like them have fought against the odds. They have probably cheated financially as well, but they compete and often beat the big six who have all the money advantages. | |
