Has anyone had any experience of using the bus from the train station to the ground?? No problem before the game but wondering how long it takes after the game!!

Might be quicker to walk, I know when we got the train a few seasons ago it seemed to take ages.

Been trying to find details myself. There is the park and ride with bus from Colchester Station (also known as Colchester North), but this looks like the bus finishes early -around 18:45 ?

I think the Park and ride is on opposite side of A12 and direction to Station.
I plan to get park and ride to ground, and get further info at the park and ride/driver on the day. I don't really want to walk 10 min to P&R and then have to double back and walk another 40 mins to station :( [Post edited 7 Aug 19:14]

Looks like the park & ride closes at 20.30 tomorrow Will properly end up getting it before the game and walk back. As it's a 10 mins walk from the Park & Ride to the ground and no idea how long the queue for the bus will be after the game. (forgot there is no extra time straight to pens) | | | |

Vipotnik is tall. Hopefully, he'll solve the problem. We're struggling to score against Colchester. So far, they look more likely to score than we do.
Finn Azaz and Shea Charles could improve things in the 2nd half, but we need our new centre forward asap. Our starting XI has looked pretty toothless. [Post edited 8 Aug 18:20]

No more than another run out before season starts and not much to read into this. Quite a few way ward passes, lapses that allowed Colcheter some good chances.. Build up play was slow (for most of the game), which allowed them to organise and they defended well.
We still seem to struggle to break down teams that sit deep and just defend.
Colchester did have a couple of really big guys up front, which defence marshalled well.
Fellows still has a habit of going forward, stopping and then playing it back. When he takes defenders on he looks good, but when he played it back constantly, we lost all momentum.
Support was good but still not sure why they didn't offer more seats. when it far from a sell out.
Noticable that D Downs was not even in bench. Is that a sign his days are numbered ? [Post edited 9 Aug 9:40]

I am hoping that Bereton Diaz and D Downs are shown the door, they had enough chances and both are very poor. |  |
