If he is not good enough we need to sign a new striker in Januarys transfer window. We seem to be dominating games but are unable to finish teams off. Wonder what Tonda would have made of Tall Paul? I'm not sure it's that. I mean he's no Messi and I was never convinced he would be a replacement for Stewart, but he did come against Stoke and scored. He came on on another game and set up a goal. He's quite strong and physical. Tonda obviously doesn't rate him, doesn't trust him, feels he doesn't give blood, sweat and tears. You have to, if you play in a Tonda team. Or maybe they have had a row or Mubama has done, said something Tonda doesn't like. Maybe Blackmore could ask Tonda why he has been left out in the cold 🤣 [Post edited 17 Oct 22:06]

Wishful thinking but I hope he is being rested before playing the full 90 vs his former club West Ham on saturday - scoring for example a brace? in a fine win. Larin is obviously doubtful after having to go off in the first half vs Bolton after his quite heavy collision with Bazunu.

Dobbin and Edozie are identical in that they flatter to deceive and have zero end product. By not signing a genuine Stewart replacement we have once again thrown a manager under the bus as we did the season Ralph got no decent striker in.

| I wholly disapprove of what you say and will defend to the death your right to say it. |

| Mubama on 12:11 - Oct 18 with 330 views | Ifonly | It's a big problem. The news is that Larin's injury is actually a hamstring, nothing to do with the collision. So his injury will have been caused either by him injuring himself by unconsciously adjusting for his back injury, or more likely just general over use, which is the usual cause of hamstring injuries. Either way, that wouldn't have happened last year because he'd have been able to get some rest. We definitely need to sign another centre forward in January. The really stupid thing is this was obvious in the summer. We should never have ended up relying on the unproven Mubama. Now we'll drop points and then probably have to over pay in January. | | | |

I’d like to know the ratio of good signings to duffers. I imagine it’s about 1in 6, but frankly there have been so many duffers since Sports Republic took over I just can’t be bothered to research it.

To bridge us over until January, perhaps it's time to give Princewill Ehibhatiomhan a place on the first team subs bench.
