So we need to wait until a club sack a shite PL manager before we can appoint him as our new PL manager?

Makes sense. Cooper has had this absolute car crash at Forest handed to him by a lunatic owner.

If this was three months ago, Saints fans would be buzzing to have Cooper lined up as manager. Done well at Swansea, done well at Forest and learnt his trade with England Under 17 winning the World Cup.

He’s no foreigner that people have never heard of though, which is a bit shit…..

Saints will wait for Steve Cooper to be sacked from Forest then we don't have to pay Forest any Compensation.
H'mm very shrewd.
As good as his CV looks SC has only done it in lower leagues. His first attempt at Premier Lge management is not looking good.
Same old story, the jump from Championship to Premier is huge & most that try it fail.
Good examples are Adam Armstrong & Che Adams they were both prolific in lower lge but now struggle in Premier.
It's the same for Managers, the step up usually ends in tears.
BUT, I personally would rather see SC get our job rather than some unknown foreign manager who doesn't speak our lingo.

I wouldn’t look too much at Forest this season as a reflection on Cooper.

I have a very decent ITK person who works at Forest. The owners son does the recruitment of players and it’s an absolute mess as the players contracts, their demands. They’ve been thrown together and Cooper has been made to crack on with it.

Both Wolves and Saints are said to be interested in him, so I don’t think his stock has gone down due this season.

The owner has just brought in a new Director of Football mid season to further muddy the waters.

Cooper would be great working with all the youngsters we've got.

Put it this way; I wouldn't be disappointed if the change happened.

It looks like Wolves already have a Manager sorted.
There target is a foreign Manager who coincidentally has just been sacked by Sevilla.
That leaves the coast clear for Saint to get SC.
But I would not expect Saints to go for him until he's sacked by NF.
Saints don't want to pay RH the remainder of his contract plus have to pay NF compensation for SC.

Maybe the same is going to happen with Hassenhüttl as he’s doing such a grand job.

So shall we talk about who briefed the media on Wednesday evening ? Its pretty obvious to me based around the two newspapers.
