Manchester Utd have already won the other cup. Let's not let another team, who hasn't been in a cup final for decades have a chance.

Jun 3rd, I will be nowhere near the city centre pubs that day. All the plastics of both clubs with their Manchester shirts and flags everywhere, but all over the south too. I might leave the country for a romantic weekend away with the wife. Question is, where? [Post edited 23 Apr 2023 19:54]

Actually it is an original and different final, as City and United have never previously met each other in a final before.
....but yes I know what you mean, it will be a massive media w@nkfest and it is the final that they had all hoped for, just as they wanted us and Forest to lose in the League Cup Semis.
As someone else has said, the BBC is based in Manchester, so they will be loving it. Needless to say, as a one off-for this one, I fully expect them to go back to the 70's and 80s and 'make a day of it' with coverage starting at 9 or 10am like it used to.
I will be out of the country, but fully expect it to be shown on a local TV channel or in the pubs, but thankfully there won't be may British Manc fans about !! |  |

But that’s just the same for practically all major too divisions/leagues as there’s a reason why it’s always been the same 5 teams winning everything over the last decade (with the exception of Leicester) and how it’s becoming soo predictable and repetitive that it’s just becoming boring now.
As yeah in the past their were always favourites, and upsets etc… which their still is, but now at least one of the favourites will always win it and the upsets are becoming more and more rare, whilst in the past the favourites wouldn’t always win it and upsets were fairly often, which is exactly what the introduction of ridiculous amounts of money has now caused and is why footballs just getting soo boring at the top. |  |

Im not sure that you will see many Man City shirts, they might have captured some global market, but not really getting into the UK market anywhere near Man Utd or Liverpool |  |
