We are already down, have been for a couple months. No point getting upset about it.

The biggest shame is that we have 3 decent young midfielders that wont be with us next season. Lavia and co would have been something decent to build on upon for Graham Potter.

Poll: Has the Ross Stewart deal already paid off as Nick says?

Exactly. We're down. Even Nick must accept this soon.

No way Potter is coming anywhere near this mess of a club.

Had we stayed up Potter would have been a great option.

Never lose hope!

If Leeds and Leicester draw tonight they're on 30 & 29pts respectively

Brighton win at Forest tomorrow and Forest are on 27 pts with an inferior GD

Everton get pumped by Newcastle and they stay on 28 pts

We beat Bournemouth and we move above Forest, 1 point behind Everton, 2 pts behind Leicester and 3 behind Leeds with 5 games left

Problem is Leicester play Everton next week. If Leicester win, the gap will be 5 points, 6 with GD. If Everton win, the gap is 4 points, 5 with GD. We hope for a draw and the gap would still be 3 points. Either way, after beating Bournemouth, we would need to win at Newcastle too and we would still be in the bottom 3 and would then need to beat Fulham. It's already looking highly unlikely, even if we beat Bournemouth. We are too far behind. We need a sudden miracle of results to occur.

Poll: After Nick's revelation, would you welcome back Danny Ings?

Like it was highly unlikely we wouldn’t get battered at the Emirates?

Trouble is, history tells us that after one good result and decent performance we play like sh!t again. All season, we have been terrible, apart from the odd unlikely result. I can't see us winning the 4 or 5 games in a row we need to win, when we haven't done that all season. ALL the other teams have to lose too. We are heading into miracle territory and we really are looking too far behind to catch up but you never know. But we do though don't we!!

I'm with Matt, the fat lady is still only warming up at the moment. Mind, she'll be in the wings ready to come on if we drop any points on Thursday

Let's just hope our lot are really up for it and not thinking about what club they'll be playing for next season

The orchestra has begun playing the intro. The fat lady's lungs are at peak temperature and ready to burst into song. Just a few more bars and she'll be belting out the relegation aria.

Got an invite from a mate to go and watch a team on the up last night.
A full house, electric atmosphere, vocal, partisan crowd.
An excellent display from a team playing the right way.
If that's what we're up against next seaso I don't fancy our chances with the present set up.

Did they happen to beat another West Country club by any chance noting your moniker Kernow

You would be right.
Came away entertained but envious of a club being well run. 🤢

Forest have won tonight. We are 6 points behind. Win tomorrow and the gap is still 3 points and could be more if Everton win. We then have to beat Newcastle away and we will still be in the bottom 3, and some of the others might pick up points, next weekend. In fact they will as Everton play Leicester. The fat lady is clearing her throat.

Good riddance to the PL as there is no point us being there.
