It was only just over a minute though, as when the ref awarded the free kick it was basically bang on the 97th, and he was always gonna let that attack end before he blew. And there certainly was at least a minute of time wasting | |

Did you somehow miss the Peterborough player being clean through on goal when they were 5-4 ahead on aggregate, and the ref completely bottling the decision to even give a foul for the blatant pull-back by the Sheff Wed defender, let alone a certain red card?
That would probably have ended the game there and then.

That was certainly embarrassing for the Alkmaar 'ultras', the oldest of whom appeared to be about 16. Apparently it was supposed to be a revenge attack for what happened to the Alkmaar family group at West Ham. | |
