Not really seen much of game other than a few minutes highlight/goals on Youtube, but it is evident we still can't defend set pieces. McCarthy looks all over the place for 2 of the goals.

He reminded me when I was at school (admittedly a long time ago) and had to take a turn in goal, when you would dive to make it look good, and got no where near the ball.

I think the stats that are most telling are that we had 20 shots. only 5 on target. 1 goal.

Gillingham. 5 attempts 4 on target. 3 goals.

Remind me, who were the L2 outfit.

We played some good football at times last night, but in the main it was dull as dishwater.

Can see how the style of play works when you have players that are good enough and want to actually play, but at 1-0 down with a team who looked completely disinterested and a player like Djeneppo who' actually looks surprised he's a footballer when he gets the ball, it's bloody awful to watch.

You could see the difference from Sheffield Wednesday when we had a team working for each other and who were comfortable on the ball and last night where you had a combination of disinterested deadwood and some promising youngsters.

Last nights line up will not resemble the one that plays on Saturday

"Last nights line up will not resemble the one that plays on Saturday "

It might do by the end of the transfer window.
