It will be interesting to see how Rooney gets on at Birmingham . I dare say if he does well and takes them to the playoffs then those that don’t rate him would say he inherited all the good work the previous management team had in place .
Rooney impressed at Derby and very nearly kept them up against all the odds . Again those that don’t rate him will say they had nothing to lose once they had their point deductions.
