I went to see Level 42 in Oxford last Saturday. T'was great to see them again after last seeing them live back in the early 80's a few times. The Christians were the support band. Not a huge fan but their set was terrific. Who knew!
I'd happily miss the Euros for Simple Minds. | |

Green Day are a good live bad but their standard set is 2 and half hours or so. Presume they'll be limited to 90 minutes here.
Prodigy I've seen (Wembley Arena) but have they not recently lost a key member of the band?
Pet Shop Boys, not my thing.
Thought that Crowded House, Keane and Simple Minds had finished a long time ago. I did see the latter about 18 months ago (or at least the lead singer and guitarist) who did a couple of "new" things which were very average.
Blossoms, I'd rate.
Everybody else is a has been or wannabe.

Yep Simple Minds would be amongst the highlights but prob lucky if they get an hours set in. Must admit I never thought I would be fussed on them, but the last time I saw The Darkness (just so happens at the IoW in the Big Top) they were fantastic.
