It’s the difference between us and the likes of Leicester and Ipswich.
Unless it changes very very quickly it will cost us any chance of automatic promotion, perhaps it already has.

We don't score many goals. I don't think we can keep expecting to win one nil. Any team can nick a goal in the final minutes when they pile forward and try their luck.We should be getting the second and third but for whatever reason we can't. | |

We don't create enough real chances to score 3 goals because we often don't get the ball forward quickly enough. We have possession for possession's sake. It's all talk and no trousers. We had 60% possession but Watford had 11 shots to our 6. This is just the RM style, he's more interested in possession than scoring goals.
When championship teams attack us with purpose, they are always likely to score 1. All they have to do is bang it up the middle and get on the end of the second ball. It's a simple game. | | | |

The season is getting on to being nearly half completed. It’s pretty evident that given the current method of play and our past results together with the quality of our squad, we are going to be in the playoffs.
The playoffs are a two and at best three game lottery. Is it not better now to adopt a more direct ( less tippy tappy) style of play and really go for it against teams the like of Rotherham, Preston, Huddersfield and Watford ? | | | |

The season is getting on to being nearly half completed. It’s pretty evident that given the current method of play and our past results together with the quality of our squad, we are going to be in the playoffs.

We should be using the pace we have in the squad. If they push up then get balls in behind, if they drop back then get runners in to the space in midfield. We do everything so slowly (in case we lose the ball) that the opposition have time to close the space down. We need to take a few more risks and speed the game up. If we did that most teams in the championship wouldn't be able to live with our quality. In championship terms we do have good quality but we don't make good use of it. | | | |

Yes and also at times in other games........ but then we revert back to type. Our habit is playing slowly and negatively and doing the opposite is the exception. I suspect that's because RM's first thought is to "control" games, rather than to go out and win them. | | | |
