Amazed that the Club haven't taken some form of sanction against him, as he is openly exposing the wounds which are rotting away at the Club.

I found Adam Blackmore's interviews with Ralf very frustrating towards the end of his tenure, he clearly liked Ralf and seemed to let that affect his interviews with him, always seemed to give him a ready made answer in his questions after another poor defeat "So Ralf, another disappointing result today against your injury ravaged squad"
I suspect this culture issue has been around since Martin left, Juric came in and told the players a few home truths and that was the beginning of the end for him [Post edited 15 Jan 8:38]

I strongly suspect this to be true. For years now, apparently better players have been signed but mysteriously failed to displace one of the bigger personalities in the dressing room from first team selection. I suspect that managers are intimidated at the prospect of breaking up a dressing room cartel, as whenever they've tried to do so theres been an apathetic response from the rest of the team. I believe that Sunderland experienced similar dynamics in their darkest years. |  | | |
