Fun fact of the day on 08:49 - Dec 19 by stowmarketrange | I think religion may take precedence over even fifa’s wishes.I’d be surprised if strict Islamic law is relaxed for a football tournament. |
Are you saying Islamic law rather than V.A.R. will be used for offsides and disputed goals?

Fun fact of the day on 16:53 - Dec 25 with 1539 views | PlanetHonneywood | Having been in Qatar a couple of months; not sure how the booze issue is going to be sorted to everyone’s satisfaction. Foreigners can drink in some 5-star hotels, but we’re talking minimum £10 plus a pint. However, the number of hotels currently serving booze won’t be able to cope with tens of thousands of fans wanting a beer. There’s one ‘offy’ but for residents with permits only. As for the idea of basing in the UAE and flying in, well as things currently stand; not happening! UAE is one of four countries applying an embargo on Qatar. Yes you can go from Dubai to Doha, but you’ll have to fly via another country. Currently, there’s no obvious solution, and maybe some might have to accept this could be a dry World Cup. As for odd fact: Martin Luther King’s killer, James Earl Ray, was arrested at Heathrow Airport!!

Of course we will. It's highly unlikely we'll have World Cup internationals in our League Two squad.

''under the thumb'' as in '' He won't be out, he's proper under the thumb. '' wrapped around the little finger '' as in ' She's got him wrapped round her little finger' all originate from Medieval falconry.

Not been decided yet, but will be in the Premier league by then so we won't be playing The other top leagues have a winter break anyway so will probably have the same, can't expect players to play a week later on Boxing day after playing in the World Cup final especially the English ones I think I read that any team with 3 international in they team from the lower leagues can have a postponement - which will rule out of most of the Championship, even if one team has not got 3 you can bet the other team has.
