it was a proper cup tie, I secretly hated every minute as a fan of the supposed better team expected to dominate, not used to being the overdog.

We didn’t win one 50:50 except for Hendo who usually gives them a miss, rightly so, but seemed to give him a dead-leg. Hope he’s ok.
Matheson showed good character when provoked.

But what about our defending from O’Connell for their goal? He was ball watching, not picking up his man. What do they teach defenders? You see the same ball watching in the Premiership.

Sat watching the Everton v Arsenal game on BT and it is such a shocker that I thought I needed to bump this thread up. At least we managed to put together a few passing moves on Monday despite the condition of the pitch. Never seen a PL (The Best League In The World apparently) match with so many misplaced passes and clueless attacking! |  |
