I watched it because of this thread. I found the Matt Hancock comparison with 'your sisters first boyfriend with a car' very funny and the Cunk character was good too.
It was interesting to see actual evidence of people like Johnson talking rubbish and being hoisted by his own petard because some were saying he didn't say things like the shaking hands incident and there it was for all to see. |  | | |

Ozark was the best thing I've watched in ages - along with Better Call Saul.
Alas, telly is grim this time of year. At least there's the new series of Billions which is very good. Damien Lewis doesn't do anything shÃte & is one of the finest actors around.
Other than that - I can't think of much else to watch which is a bummer. |  |

Shame that was the last ever series of Homeland. I've watched it from the very beginning and enjoyed every minute.
I think the next series of Line of Duty will be delayed by several months. It began filming again in February but was stopped, like everything else, due to Covid.
One good point though; at least the shockingly appalling Eastenders has run out of episodes and is no more for the time being... albeit temporarily alas. | |

Have been working my way through Curb your Enthusiasm. Well into Series 9 now. Everyone should channel a bit of Larry David.
Decided to read Normal People before watching it. That was a mistake - hated it, so now don't want to watch the series.
Watched the first 4 series of The Americans with Mrs Dorset, a lot of which was good. But we gave up three episodes into series 5 as it lost the plot a bit. | |
