Charlie Brooker 21:38 - May 15 with 2154 views | saint22 | His show nailed it last night Made a very valid point about that £350m a week Boris’ leave bus promised us! Where is that money now?

I've not seen Black Mirror. I'm looking for something to watch after watching episode 1 of White Lines last night. I usually give something a few episodes but that was absolute tosh.

Never heard of it if I'm honest - just looked it up, doesn't sound like my sort of thing to watch.

Charlie Brooker on 08:30 - May 16 with 1562 views | SalisburySaint | Was absolutely brilliant show, satire at its best, but seriously showed up Boris, especially him boasting about shaking hands of COVID-19 patients. I can’t imagine how he caught the virus 😜🤓🤪😉 [Post edited 16 May 2020 8:31]

Charlie Brooker on 12:50 - May 16 with 1383 views | cocklebreath | It was good in parts, obviously hugely smug and the bit with the woman was tedious. Black mirror is a bit grim for watching now, reckon you need to be in a non pandemic state of mind. Ozark is excellent

Charlie Brooker on 14:38 - May 16 with 1345 views | thissceptredsaint | I watched it because of this thread. I found the Matt Hancock comparison with 'your sisters first boyfriend with a car' very funny and the Cunk character was good too. It was interesting to see actual evidence of people like Johnson talking rubbish and being hoisted by his own petard because some were saying he didn't say things like the shaking hands incident and there it was for all to see.

To be fair Johnson and Hancock are pretty much low hanging fruit when it comes to comedians.

Ozark was the best thing I've watched in ages - along with Better Call Saul. Alas, telly is grim this time of year. At least there's the new series of Billions which is very good. Damien Lewis doesn't do anything shÃte & is one of the finest actors around. Other than that - I can't think of much else to watch which is a bummer.

Charlie Brooker on 15:26 - May 18 with 947 views | Sadoldgit | Just finished bingeing on Normal People which is excellent. Also agree about the final series of Homeland which was the best by far since Brody. Californication is back on SKY which is also excellent.
Charlie Brooker on 15:44 - May 18 with 940 views | 1885_SFC | Shame that was the last ever series of Homeland. I've watched it from the very beginning and enjoyed every minute. I think the next series of Line of Duty will be delayed by several months. It began filming again in February but was stopped, like everything else, due to Covid. One good point though; at least the shockingly appalling Eastenders has run out of episodes and is no more for the time being... albeit temporarily alas.

Charlie Brooker on 20:10 - May 18 with 894 views | Happy_Jack | Save Me Too was very good Got one episode of Gangs Of London to do which is watchable but the gratuitous violence is all a bit daft Top of the bill is still OFAH on Gold at the weekend

Charlie Brooker on 20:33 - May 18 with 889 views | kingolaf | I thought Gangs of London was very disappointing. Currently watching The Last Dance. A fascinating insight into Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls.
Charlie Brooker on 21:39 - May 18 with 865 views | DorsetIan | Have been working my way through Curb your Enthusiasm. Well into Series 9 now. Everyone should channel a bit of Larry David. Decided to read Normal People before watching it. That was a mistake - hated it, so now don't want to watch the series. Watched the first 4 series of The Americans with Mrs Dorset, a lot of which was good. But we gave up three episodes into series 5 as it lost the plot a bit.

Charlie Brooker on 11:32 - May 22 with 728 views | Sadoldgit | Finally caught up with the Brooker show last night. I thought it was a bit patchy but really did nail it in parts. The descriptions of Chris Whitty and Matt Hancock were hilarious. Can’t look at Hancock now without thinking Peter Pandemic.
