Enough of politics and argueing over handing of COVID or Boris’s business success

What’s your thoughts of A Hero’s Death Album

I love it especially the three songs that were offered before release and other songs such as Lucid Dream and several other tracks really good

Nice to see the band develop from their first Album, looking forward (COVID dependant) on seeing them live next May

What’s your views

Havent had much time this week to listen to it, but from the first play it seems to be good, not sure it will be as instantaneous on the ear as the first album but definitely very good and a grower

Certainly not instantaneous, apart from three songs pre-issued, hence why I waited a week before posting about it.

I think it’s pretty great, starts very well but maybe drops off a bit but comes back strongly
For a second album they have upped their game and it doesn’t sound too much of a copy of their first, some growth in song writing musically too
Not sure they should play ally pally next though - even if that can happen

I might have liked them when I was teenager. That was a very long time ago. Now I think it's a racket.

Why not they sell out everywhere?
You still didn’t answer that rubbish you posted about them not getting on

I think they would be best off playing 2 or 3 Brixton’s, not sure they are suited to such a large venue, plus the sounds sh1te in there
As for them not getting along that’s what I was told by a promoter friend, maybe it’s wrong

Why don’t you tell the band (via your promoter friend) that you feel they are putting their careers in jeopardy by playing the wrong venue?
This could be the difference between the band becoming truly world beating or dying on their arses.

It is wrong...from the promoter in Southampton .
I should know he lives with my daughter!
Guildhall acoustics aren’t great but it’s biggest venue locally.
For you info they have played bigger and sold out

Well good to know as I think they are. A great band
And I know full well they will sell ally pally out that wasn’t my point it was that I think they are better suited to a smaller venue that’s all

Not listened to their new album yet as i have been heavily listening to Pigs, Pigs, Pigs....and the latest Psychedelic Furs album which is absolute quality.

Got tickets for the Pigs at the Engine Rooms but no doubt this will get canned. Fontaines are decent live however i am a little sceptical about seeing them in the bigger venues.

Secret Machines and Flaming Lips new albums out soon so few to look forward to.

Two of the three remain, namely Josh Garza and Brandon Curtis. Sadly Benjamin Curtis passed away years back (RIP).
