Spurs make Ings approach on 22:55 - Sep 17 by Gennaro_Contaldo | Agree. You could read this a couple of ways; 1. Spurs unsettling a key player before a match. This is a Mourinho tactic and one he'd definitely use to kick start his team's season. If anyone hasn't watched Spurs: All or nothing on Amazon yet, do. It's very good. 2. Ings' agent stirring at the worst possible time, but in the hope it'll get his client more £ on his new contract. Or I guess '3' ... Spurs may actually want him, Saints will give in for £50m and then sign some Juventus U21 player for £30m who turns out to be utter gash. [Post edited 17 Sep 2020 22:55]

I want to believe it is reason number 1 but think reason number 3 is the most probable outcome.

with Bale on his way I can't see this happening, although Ings lacklustre start doesnt bode well, has he been unsettled Equally if Kane stutters this season they will be back for him next summer

Spurs make Ings approach on 21:20 - Sep 17 by Boris_ | Yes. That would be it for me and Eastleigh would have a new Season Ticket Holder and I'd use the spare cash to sponsor something at Romsey Town. I can't see it happening, but if it does, I'm off. |
Would you still go to Funky Flamingos?

Spurs make Ings approach on 08:40 - Sep 18 with 1030 views | grumpy | I agree with,Boris. This is getting ridiculous now, the FA should have some strong guidelines on big clubs raiding others at will. Ings kept us up last season and we may well let him go this season. Disillusioned.

Although I love your sentiment Grumpy, but re the FA getting involved I thought there were already rules in place re tapping up, and if a player has ambition to get a few medals and double his money why would he not go to a club bigger than Saints. Providing Spurs make the approach in the way they should then nothing wrong. Not saying he'll get medals at WHL, but they are a bigger club we have to admit And as for player loyalty, that doesn't exist anywhere now. Some could say Grealish has shown it at Villa by signing a new contract, but he's doubled his money almost and no one else came in for him! Thoroughly pi55es me off though, but if he goes we will go down with the way this club is being managed at the top level. Something must have happened between the end of last season and the start of this | | | | Login to get fewer ads

How many players have we bought from Celtic? Foster,VVD,Armstrong and Elyounoussi only come to mind and two of them went back there. Celtic are a far bigger club than Saints, losing players like that is hardly going to destructive when playing in the Scottish Premiership. Oh and I forgot Wanyama..... Its a 'free market' grumps, don't blame the FA or league for clubs flogging their players at will to a particular club. If ever there was a case then they should have gone to town on the scousers but sadly they are the 'media darlings'. Players moving on says more about themselves and the club flogging them.

Spurs make Ings approach on 12:35 - Sep 18 with 807 views | Poirot | I dont think this situation is anything more than Ings agent trying to get a better deal from Saints. Spurs dont have the money to pay for Ings and in Levy's eyes if hes seen to be looking like hes made approaches that will keep Mourinho sweet.

As I'm bored, I created a comparison, looks like Spurs have done better out of Saints, than Saints from them, but that is not a shock ... Saints to Spurs: Højbjerg Gazzaniga Wanyama Bale Dean Richards :( Ruddock Martin Chivers Alf Ramsey Dick Rowley Jack Elkes Spurs to Saints: Walker-Peters Forecast (!!!!)
