Yes I watched it. Mainly because there was naff all else to watch and I am tired of food related programmes which seems to be almost saturation at the moment.
I was not that bothered about the game but it was all very easy for England. Ireland were completely ineffective as an opposition (apart from 2 brief forays into our box in the first half). |  | | |

Agreed. Ireland were very poor and offered very little going forwards. We have a number of talented young players coming up but I am not sure if Southgate is the manager to get the best out of them. | | | |

His obsession with lecturing about racism in football gets a bit wearing too. By my count there were several black or mixed race players proud to turn out for the team last night and it’s a pleasure to see that. All there on the basis of talent without his earnest, constant eye blinking, pc tick-box pronouncements.
