I have seen it mentioned that we should go 3-5-2 and think that could have some merits. It is far too easy to get at our defence and we concede in midfield far too often without Romeu. This would give us cover and allow us to break from a position of better security if the ball is lost or given away. Salisu needs to get more experience and game time and we need at least one CB with pace. |  | | |

I had just come on here to see if a thread had started and if not was going to with a "If you can be ar5ed matchday thread" with what has happened this week with football. It certainly has left a bad taste in the mouth
But I will still be on the edge of my seat moaning and swearing at the tv no doubt

You're not alone Butty.
Away at West Brom - we were awful. I put that down to the players wanting to keep fit for the semi final. But in that semi - we were just as shÃt. I don't mind the getting beat... provided we've put a bloody good shift in. But they haven't. All they've done is go through the motions. If they can't be arsed - then neither can I. Tonight is no different.
I can't wait for the season to end and hope, with lots of optimism, that we have a good Summer & add some exciting new additions to the squad. |  |

Let's assume that the shackles will be off a Spurs side who will want to express themselves a bit now that Jose has gone. Could be quite an open game. This could be Walcott's one good game in five.

IMO there's not much to chose between McCathy and Forster at present.
Walcott hasn't had a great couple of games, but he can offer an attacking threat, which is more than can be said for Djenepo, whose role these days just seems to be to make to make an irritant of himself and to fall over.
Tbh I don't envy Ralph trying to cobble together a team for this one. Like lots of the comments above, I'm struggling to drag myself to the telly. | |
