How are the 'Ralph Out' Brains Trust getting on over here? 09:13 - Aug 31 with 3061 viewssaints__fan__73

It's almost almost as if having the worst squad in the PL and regularly having to start players like McCarthy, Lyanco and Stephens may have had something to do with our bad form and, now we have improved the squad, results are looking up?

Or maybe not and if we had that tactical genius Sean Dyche we would have beaten Chelsea 4-1, yes?

I'd be not in the slightest bit bothered if left tomorrow..the impetus and direction gained so far this season is the recruitment and coaching staff...

He had his own way at spurs and the first 50 odd minutes at home to Leeds..we were identical to last year's end of season run in..he got overruled in the second half against Leeds and that was from new eyes stopping the previous seasons rot..

So Ralph can go whenever ..not bothered

The most stupid thing I have ever heard (overuled!). Ralph is on 6 million a year to be in charge. He makes the final decision. If he didn't, he couldn't be held accountable could he. The coaches advise and support just like in any organisation when deputies give their views. The boss makes the final decision and agrees or disagrees.

You think that RH is subservient to the coaches? “He got over ruled.”

Playing a back3 is definitely something we should be able to do, and worth persevering with. Ultimately, it is his call, and having a coaching team that he trusts is now a boon. I am glad that he has changed tack, but the back 3/5 needs to be worked on over time.

He most certainly did against Leeds ..he was 35 minutes from the sack I believe.

He ran the show last season and had a disastrous run in..he ran the show at Tottenham and got schooled..he ran the show until the coaches had seen enough at home to Leeds .they saved his bacon .so yes..he got overruled and benefited greatly...

No, he may have got advised (as that what good coaches do) and he went with their advice. He could have said no, so overruled is the wrong word I'm afraid.

We'll probably never know whether the Ralph was given advice and took it, or given an ultimatum by his coaches.

As good as last night was (and it really was), as good as the turn around at Leicester was and the late comeback against Leeds Utd, we all know that we have had good runs and great results before only to be followed by monumental defeats or chronic bad runs. So, it would be wonderful to think that this time is different but we need to wait and see. Looking at it, we have an exciting squad and brand of players but at some point individually they will run out of steam, lose form etc and then we will be tested how good a squad or manager or coaches we have.

We should also remember as much improved the performances have been since the Leeds turnaround, we have still conceded in every game and we have had to come from behind (which I admit is more enjoyable than losing from a winning position) and we have not taken enough of our chances (as we should have at least drawn against Man U - though, we equally should have had a penalty).

Oh I see. So the coaches can be blamed if things go wrong then can't they as they can overrule the manager. So Ralph has a job for life as the coaches are in charge and will take the blame if we lose a game.

I'm sure Ralph was stood there disagreeing with the changes at 2 nil down to make changes and he got overruled by his coaches. So this talk of Ralph's decision making is totally irrelevant as his coaches make the decisions 😜

We're doing well as long as his staff have huge input. Ralph would be playing Valery as striker, Stuart Armstrong as LB and subbing McCarthy for Gazanu after 88mins if it was up to him.

Fiscally more prudent to have him think he's in charge and others overule his random mental moments until he retires...

Caretaker manager of sorts now with a coaching team prepared to guide the manager from making his relentless odd tactics formations substitutions and selections..Ralph's in good hands now thanks to Ruben...

To me Ralphies major two problems are tinkering and defence

He has never stuck with a side for a number of games, always changes one or two

Defensively he likes to switch formations and personnel as well

Given we have a better keeper and two good CBs now hopefully he won't mess any more

Whoever is making the decisions Ralph or his team of coaches, it very obvious that there is much more communication between Ralph & his Coaches.
Previously Ralph never even looked at his previous bunch of coaches & they never got off their arses.
The new coaches are showing much more passion.
Whatever is going on now is working.
Talking communication, it's noticable that our ctr backs & goalkeeper are talking & helping each other much more than previous.
Every club has hot & cold spells during a season mainly due to injuries & suspensions let's just hope we have more hot spells than cold spells.
What impresses me most is the improvement shown by Djennepo & Adam Armstrong, it's like having an extra 2 new signings.

All the players appear to be happy & singing from the same hymn sheet. Looks like they're enjoying their football once more... which is more than can be said for a large part of last season. Long may it continue - whatever the reason/s.

They all want Dyche mate. Though given how a manager who only signed white players would do with a team 90% black is anyone's guess...

Who wanted Dyche?
You've just made that up, otherwise give examples from fans views about him on here.

Not sure what you're inferring about Dyche in the second part, but you're making that up as well.
Just from memory in recent seasons, Cornet, Andre Grey, Nahki Wells, Waters, Lennon and Mumbongo are they all white?

Another backhanded compliment from Ralph the mouth ..

Frontal lobotomy might be required soon

But Hasenhuttl reserved a special mention for the supporters, who have seen their team come from behind three times already this Premier League season.

“We spoke about Saturday how good we have played but didn’t get points, today we played the same but scored twice and turn things around like this against Chelsea,” Hasenhuttl said.

“This doesn’t happen often. Even more proud I am for putting such a performance on the pitch after an intense game Saturday.

“It was exciting to watch and the atmosphere in the crowd was sensational, it carried us when we didn’t score the third goal which was definitely possible for us to make it a little bit easier in the end.”

He continued: “Overall, very positive. Every positive result is good for the self-belief and the way you want to work.

“I can see lots of things today that were based on very hard work from the last few days, and when you have young lads — we often speak about the empty hard-drive which you can put stuff on — they don’t think too much, they just go out there and know what to do.”
