Ralph must go, we've all gone quiet. 16:23 - Oct 26 with 4438 viewsGRIM

It's noticeable that all of the hype calling for Ralph to go has gone quiet.
I was one of the Ralph must go campaigners so I'm keeping quiet as well.

It's the PL, so what's the f@cking point? Change the manager for what? A possible but unlikely top 10 finish? We stay in the league under Ralph. There is resignation in the head of every Saints fan and that of the other fans of clubs that make up the numbers. Here is the league table:
Arsenal
Man City
Tottenham
Newcastle
Chelsea
Man U
Fulham
Liverpool
It's as boring as predicted. These clubs arn't going to move, apart from Fulham who won't stay there. So we can change the manager but it won't change anything that causes any excitement. It could ofcourse be worse. The Ralph "supporters" fear it could be worse, (and it could) that's all it is.

Leeds want a new manager, West Ham have mentioned it, Villa have done it a few times, in the end nothing changes. It's still the same teams at the top of the league.

Poll: Who are you voting for?

We get credible draws against Man City (last season) and Arsenal last Sunday but then lose to shit like Watford and most recently Everton at home.

We need to beat teams in and around us in our own Mini-League if we are to MARCH ON BOLDLY AND BRAVELY WITHOUT BLOCK 1 away from the relegation zone.

We thought that we had the answers, It was the questions we had wrong.

Thats the same for every team outside of the Top 7 clubs, its all about consistency and a little luck, Forest beat Liverpool but they wont go on a 5 game winning streak now.

We beat Chelsea and then get injuries and go on a losing streak, most sides havent got the squad to cope, occasionally a side does well but then its down to hoping you don't get any injuries

We all know we ain't going to finish in top 6 or even top 10 but it would be nice to see our team playing some good entertaining football.
Ralph always sets his team up to be defensive & playing with fear. We might be on a 3 match unbeaten run but apart from the last half hour against Arsenal we have been very hard to watch.

Thats stretching it to say injuries caused our losing streak. We lost Lavia in the Chelsea game. That dosent explain the meek performances against Wolves, Villa and Everton.

We beat Chelsea, who then sacked their manager, then lost to Wolves, Villa and Everton.
The only player injured was Lavia.
If we are relying on a 18 year old Premier League rookie then we are fûcked.
All three of the above are in our Mini-League and also have not the richness of squad depth of ‘the big boys’.

Keep a clean sheet and you don’t lose.
That’s our problem.

40/1 for Lyanco to get a red card tomorrow.

The Messiah needs to came him down in the locker room before Zaha bamboozles him with tekkers, megs and nasty comments about his ink.

So, set up to defend and only one clean sheet. Not very good if that is the tactics. But I don’t think that is the plan.

I think Ralph's tactics are to not take any risks & keep it tight in the first & hope to nick it in 2nd half.
This is so different to previous seasons when we pressed high up the pitch from the kick off, we got our best results with this system.
But you've got to have the high energy players to get this right.

A good tactic would be for our defence to mark the opposition in our penalty area.
Time after time, game after game, season after season an unmarked player scores against from inside our penalty area.

Last Sunday the latest example.
We are on course again to concede 60+ league goals.
This is relegation battle standard.
Yet we are told our defence and keeper have improved this campaign.

Leicester, Leeds, Wolves and Forest have hard games this weekend so it’s a chance to put some daylight between us and them.

Lyanco needs to stay on the pitch.

Looking ahead we have Newcastle and Liverpool. Difficult.

Let’s see where we are in the table at 18:30 on 13th November.

WE MARCH ON

Probably bottom

keep the faith coyr
