What is relevant is the fact we have sold all our best players and bought a load of youngsters on the cheap who have never played PL.football in their life. And now a cheap yes man from the championship as manager. The problems are higher up. They are making the ultimate decisions in the boardroom. Fans need to put the blame at their door. Seeing Djenepo and Diallo in the starting 11 did ring alarm bells about Jones’ competence but at least he took them both off at half time.
It’s very disappointing that there’s been absolutely no new manager bounce, but I’m not going to write him off after 1 PL game.
The Club has been in decline during the Gao years and we were going nowhere under RH, so a change was needed.
RH could not put together a solid team even after 4 years. Let’s give Jones 4 games at least, before judging him.
And we’ve still got a Jan transfer window and plenty of games left to bring in a new manager if we have to. |  |

To be honest anyone who thinks that Djenepo, Elyonousie and Diallo should be in the starting line up is asking for trouble, they should even be bench warmers. JWP needs to be dropped and soon he is actually slowing the game down. I am really struggling to understand the SA situation as well why is he not starting and when he does come in looks like he ain’t interested it is baffling. Rubbish keeping fir the first 2 goals the 3rd was class.

It's worrying that Jones picked those 3 to start - considering he's had several weeks to watch them in training. Today was just like the Lincoln game only against better opposition. Aribo and Stuart Armstrong must have been sh1te in training all week to be left on the bench!

Absolutely shocking display.
Brighton just waltzed around us for most of the game, and our our midfield was non existent. If you’re being overrun in midfield as we were you going to get beaten
Just shows the folly of getting rid of Romeu.
