I tried to be positive this week. I even joined a thread being positive about getting behind the team and the manager because the transfer window gave me hope and the 2nd half performance against Newcastle. But, right now I feel that positivity was grossly misplaced because for the life of me I cannot see this manager getting another win and relegation was likely but it now looks a certainty as those above now have a 3 point gap at least and above the line possibly more by the end of the weekend. We had to get a win today. Nothing about Jones suggests to me he has a clue what to do. I thought Ralph going was right but I did not expect the Board to make such a cataclysmic appointment to replace him.
Both Ralph and Jones keep picking Diallo - why? I would not have him anywhere near the first team and I have said that for a long time. Elyounoussi is weak in midfield. Why were the new players not put in from the start? They both said they came because they wanted to play in the PL - well they won't be playing in it for very long.
I have my tickets for next week and I just wonder what is the point. | | | |
