My first game was in 1963 too. It was a 2-0 win against Newcastle. Coincidentally, at that time a future Saints legend, John McGrath, was playing for Newcastle.

V P*mpey March 63, 4-2 home win, Terry Paine, Dave Burnside x 2 and Stuart Williams, I was hooked and it would only be the Saints for me after that. After that game my old fella would say to me every Saturday Saints are away today, want to go and watch the scum down Fratton, true story!
