i wonder, is RM hiding him from potential suitors or SR in case they offer him to Uncle Todd at Chelsea for £50m? - think Lavia last August, albeit the other way round.
Seriously though, no it’s not too early, very occasionally a young player comes along that you just have a feeling about at first sight, you cannot necessarily quantify it, there’s just something about them that seems right but at a level up and above the norm. Had that feeling seeing Shearer and Matt Le Tiss for the first time and for me it’s the same with Sam Amo.
