Team for Derby 11:43 - Oct 3 with 2273 views | Rangersw12 | Really difficult team selection as we were very weak in CM against Hull and I don't think we can play Madsen in a 2 again but now have limited options with Colback and Varane out I would go 433 GK Nardi RB Dunne CB Fox CB Cook LB Paal CM Field CM EDB CM Madsen RW Smyth LW Saito ST Frey Chair and Dembele to come on 2nd half

Don't see what alternative we have tbh Unless you go 4231 with Madsen & Field together and Dembele as the 10 but it's still weak as piss whatever way you go [Post edited 3 Oct 12:54]

Team for Derby on 13:07 - Oct 3 with 1997 views | BklynRanger | If Colback still isn't fit it might be worth trying Paal beside Field, and Fox at LB. Ken has been hanging around in the middle at times, for tactical reasons obviously, and I thought he came to us with that versatility anyway - probably time to consider using it a bit more. And as has been said by others, until things change a lot Madsen and Anderson should be competing for ONE dreamy, free thinking, K Billy's Super Sounds of the 70s, Camberwell carrot attacking midfield slot. Not both on the pitch at once tripping their faces off. So if JCS and Colback are still out I'd got for: ------------------------Frey----------------------------- Saito---------Madsen/Dem---------Dembele/Madsen --------------Paal-----------Field------------- Fox----Dunne-----Cook-----Santos/Ashby -----------------------Nardi--------------- Chair to continue his recuperation second half [Post edited 3 Oct 13:50]

Assume it would come under serious foul play but who knows Of course I'm sure we used to be told stuff like this by the club | | | | Login to get fewer ads

This team is crying out for a couple of Derry and Hill types.

we did used to be told but it's best they don't tell us so they can keep a competitive advantage over rivals

Some people seem to be really hung up about the supposed communication issue: fully expecting people to start using it as the reason we are doing so poorly on the pitch and are in the bottom three.

Paal is not the answer to any Q in this QPR side, Poor full back (can't defend, can't cross, can't beat a man) and awful option in midfield. Until January if Colback can't play, its Field and Varane or Madsen. THERE IS NO-ONE ELSE. Got to hope these players find a game or Marti finds a system to hide some of our passengers in or this is going to be a long season. Would have put cash on us to beat Derby at the start of this season. Not now though on what I have seen over the last four games. We HAVE to score first and then hang on.

Team for Derby on 19:30 - Oct 3 with 1019 views | stainrods_elbow | If needs must, is there a shout for starting Chair? His cameo was frankly appalling vs Hull, but maybe he now needs to use games to play himself back to match fitness and, hopefully, form. Sadly, after such a promising opening couple of games, I don't think Dembele is a starter right now. Saying that, of our front 5, only Saito has shone of late. I'd also be inclined to start Alfie and drop Madsen. Not confident at all about the Derby game. A 90 minute performance (remember those?) and a credible draw would be a boon.
