QPR HOME FORM FOR LAST TWO YEARS 18:53 - Nov 4 with 3302 views | numptydumpty | So since 5th November 2022 P W D L Pts GD 45 8 13 24 37 -29 This is our home form for the last two calendar years as to today. In most seasons I generally over many years of following QPR have expected us to at least to have a fairly decent home record, even in the years of struggle. And in general like most clubs our home form is markedly better than our away form. We do have a very decent home following in recent seasons, way better than when we were much higher up the leagues or even when we have at times been in the premier league and our stadium does create a great atmosphere when the fans back the team and yet somehow these last few years, the home form has fallen off a cliff. We have had to be half decent away from home to finish where we have. So I am led to believe this form in the last two calendar years places us 92nd out of 92 football league clubs during this period. So repeating that. Our HOME FORM in LAST 2 YEARS, we are 92ND out of 92 TEAMS !!! WHY ??? [Post edited 4 Nov 18:59]

QPR HOME FORM FOR LAST TWO YEARS on 19:44 - Nov 4 with 2706 views | davman | Absolute shite, aren't we? That is godawful no matter how you dress it up. Since Richard Thompson was ousted, the club's decline has been shocking. Three good seasons since 1995 - one after the club literally collapsed on itself leaving Olly to get us back to this level despite having just 7 pros at the beginning of the season, one following a Warnock masterclass combined with lots of money and then the least convincing of the lot, a massively financially doped whimper through a spawny last minute Zamora goal. Other than that, it has been shite. We've been going home and away pretty regularly this season now and my lad just asked "How many games is it since we saw a QPR win live?" TEN games. A typical QPR run. Love 'em, but that's abysmal.

QPR HOME FORM FOR LAST TWO YEARS on 08:58 - Nov 5 with 2007 views | slmrstid | I find it best not to think too deeply about it as it actually makes you feel a bit ill and wonder if you're just wasting your life away with a season ticket. 13 wins in 56 now with the stats that Northern keeps. That said, if its 8 from 45 in the last two years, that means the 11 games before that yielded 5 wins. So that was decent, at the time. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Why is it 'shameful'?? It is 'very disappointing' would be more appropriate. As for MC 'gone' - lots of reasons why we need him so not sure that you are right there either!!!

QPR HOME FORM FOR LAST TWO YEARS on 10:13 - Nov 5 with 1847 views | stevec | So used to the depressing walk up SAR after another loss I’m pleasantly surprised to find we’ve won as many as 8 out of the last 45. There was some stat along these lines a few months ago whereby we were found 92nd out of the 92 league clubs over both a 5 year and 10 year period. I use this as a pick me up fact for the likes of a disconsolate Arsenal supporter whos lamenting the loss of a game after a 10 match winning run.
QPR HOME FORM FOR LAST TWO YEARS on 10:25 - Nov 5 with 1810 views | stainrods_elbow | It IS shameful! If you're not embarrassed by that as a fan, let alone the club itself, you need to give your head a wobble! And, yes, if Marti can't impact that record at all by the end of the season, after two seasons at the club, I doubt I'd be renewing him. As I say, let's hope he and his players can, having turned it around once.

Well you seem to blame everyone else for what is wrong at QPR - maybe you should look inwards?

Well said, Gazza. This "Marti out" rhetoric ignorantly forgets that this malaise was even evident in the last half-season under Mark Warburton, yet there was plenty of biblical clothes-tearing and shouts of "You don't know what you're doing" in the direction of the Board when he was let go. As Clive repeatedly says, if you change the Manager as frequently as we do, and the results don't improve, then logic suggests that the manager is not your problem.

At home the onus is on being more expansive and taking the game to the opponent. Away it's far more acceptable to keep it tight defensively and try to nick something on the counter. I would suggest that our lack of attacking threat means when we play like this we get picked off by the opposition as we are more open and still don't score. So over the last 2 seasons, we are better at keeping it defensively tight.

Why is the answer to every question always sack the manager.
QPR HOME FORM FOR LAST TWO YEARS on 14:30 - Nov 5 with 1237 views | Landshark | It's strange how bad our home form is considering many people historically view it as a tough place to visit. You would think with the standing area in lower loft now and with an improved atmosphere it would somehow help the players. There was also that stat a little while ago that we went a really long time without scoring a goal shooting towards the loft.

Because this time, honest, the next manager, whoever it is, is most definitely 100% the person who will change everything. Definitely. No doubt. And if not lets just sack that manager and hope the next one is the one. Etc...
