The comment from Ian Mc does not make much sense to me. Shortlists are not static, people are hired and fired all the time and will be pursuing their own options. So either we have a candidate lined up and are sorting out the details or we don’t have anyone we want and need to look again.

Just checked the pod on Youtube - his actual words were '....no news concrete news anyway on the head coach um situation, that might actually have changed by the time you um hear this depending on when it goes out, we're recording it on Wednesday um but at the moment there's uh there is nothing concrete....'
