Not very convincing. Robinson looked decent but apart from that, lots of misplaced passes, such a struggle to score, Dibling looking p!ssed off, quite a few players looking like they didn't want to be there. | |

Ok, I wasn't there, but first game. Do we expect to decent fluid side with a (potentially) new style? If we'd have trounced them by 5 or 6 we'd all be shouting that we'll walk the league
Accept after the shiteshow of last year its difficult to show any great optimism but let's see how we do in the remaining pre-season games and then we can have a good old winge! |  |

Robinson looked good I like him , Quarshie looked decent, Edoize did ok . Not much else to say really, a pretty drab game just a training match for Saints. Eastleigh hardly touched the ball. |  |

Thats a fair point. i just expected the very experienced first half team to perform better. but in truth they were outplayed by a bunch of National League players.
2nd half was the complete reverse. We dominated and Bazunu didn't have a shot to save. | | | |

I'm afraid you'd have been on your own in shouting that. We beat them 7-1 last pre-season and nobody thought it was any more than the sort of result you'd expect from a match between 2 teams so many leagues apart. When we met a team nearer our level - Oxford United - they beat us 2-0. [Post edited 13 Jul 2025 0:24]
