I'd get Vale on for Esquerdinha, Field to left back, Vale in the position Field currently playing (a sort of 8-10 combo). Gets the bodies in the right spots, but with a ball player in the 8-10 position who can contribute to attacks in a way Field can't. And strengthens left back position.
Smyth and Burrell on later to harass them and be dangerous on counter.

Ben Hamer is an utter big girl's blouse, and we get a scrappy o.g. And, folks, that's about it.
The lack of quality was, frankly, frightening. They weren't much better, but at least created some goal attempts.
AS says we need to come out with more 'intensity', which is mystifying. What we need , despeately, is some guile, style, and vision. But have we got the players out there to supply it?
Hamer - should be off for Nardi, end of
Esquerdinha - just chop him up and serve him in a quesadilla
Kone - first touch of a combine harvester
Saito - looks like he should be playing with the J. League schoolboys
Madsen - deeper than the f*cking Atlantic, bar a 3-minute 'attack'
Only Dunne and Field looked remotely competent.
