Cyle has been absolutely brilliant for us.
He took a few games to get match fit & up to speed but he is now a colossus for us.
He's the best central striker we've had since Graziano Pelle.
Tonda said that when he came into the club that he was a proper guy & he is.
His enthusiasm is infectious.

He wears a bandage because virtually every other player does.
Wrist bandages are now the go to fashion.
Just look at how many Premier players have a bandage on their wrist.
I counted 6 players in a Premier match last week wearing bandages on their wrist.
But in Cyles case it it makes him play better then I have no problem with that. | | | |

Problem is, both of those are only on loan. Peretz has an option to buy, not sure about Larin, but the club need to be talking to agents and mother clubs about them | |

I don't want to put a damper on proceedings and I 100% agree with everything that has been said about Larin...
...but we would need to think very carefully about who would be able to cut in the Premier League.
Maybe it was the twin clowns of Martin and Juric that meant we could not compete last time, but equally Adam Armstrong is not PL quality and yet we tried to have him leading the attack.
Let's worry about next season and rights to buy and contract extensions when we know what league we're going to be playing in. |  |

Despite that burst from the half way line to notch v Wrexham, which really surprised a lot of people, I still think he looks a little slow and lethargic at times. I reckon he would need another 6 months with us in order to get 'Saints Match Fit', but he seems to be putting the effort in and looks like he has lost that spare tyre that he had when he arrived !! :-)
He has scored some good goals, but still needs to work on his finishing. He misses too many good chances - like at Sheff Weds Away x 2, Fulham Away x 2 and Wrexham Away where he should have had 3 or 4.
Despite this, he is proving to be an excellent loan acquisition and is not only contributing with goals and great hold up play, but is also more than adequately taking the strain off the injury prone Stewart. The rotation is working well, Tonda. Keep up the good work.

Yep, I remember thinking that we'd completely given up any hope of challenging for a play off spot by not only selling our top scorer but seemingly not getting a replacement in except for a player who has barely played and quite possibly just a fat version of Downs! And a keeper who has barely played over the last few seasons, and bringing back Bree due to injuries felt underwhelming..
How wrong could I have been. Larin got me on board with virtually his 1st touch, with that bulldozing thunderkhunt of a header. Now nearer match fitness he has shown a good turn of pace at Wrexham and on Tues for his goals and good hold up and tracking back play.
Peretz after a nervy start at Donny in the cup has been immense and Bree a revelation on his previous showings in the past.
