A lot depends on tomorrow’s result I feel.
Hammer them 4-0 or so and complaints about a man taking photo shots from a grassy knoll will look totally ridiculous.
Win by the odd goal or on penalties after extra time and that’s a different story.
I don’t think for a moment it will happen but if we were defeated we are obviously out of the competition leaving a fine and or points deduction for next season in The Championship as the only options available.
Win tomorrow and subsequently get banned from playing in the Playoff Final will result in an absolute field day for the legal profession. |  |

Steve Gibson is the driving force behind this hysterical overreaction. Apparently he has history for behaving like an angry Rottweiler in disputes with other clubs. He has enormous wealth and friends in high places so he is a formidable opponent. He will already be working behind the scenes to influence the 'independent disciplinary panel.'

The article is wrong to say that SFC have accepted the charges. They've acknowledged the charges, which is very different. Saying they've accepted the charges implies they've accepted guilt, which they haven't. If it really happened, they were probably only trying to find out if Hackney was involved or not.

Sadly not. When Leeds did it there were no rules against it and they still got fined £200k. That made the league realise that they needed to introduce potential penalties like points deductions for anyone stupid enough to do it. This is the first case brought under the rules. There's a good chance that they will want to try out their new powers.

Just have to ride it out for a few more days!!!!
IF (and it is an IF) we go through, then they will have to sort out logistics for the play off final and there will only be just over a week to do that. Once those arrangements have been made, we won’t be kicked out.
Why?
Well if they start selling us tickets, they can’t then backtrack on us being in the final.
And once the final is played, then the result will have to stand.
Millwall/Hull beat us, then they won’t be letting Middlesbrough have a play off against the winner.
We win, then who goes up instead of us, Boro who we would have beaten or Millwall/Hull who we would have beaten in the final?? | | | |

Can’t see any points deductions. Too complicated as Wrexham who finished 7th will say it’s unfair on them. They won’t throw us out if we win the play offs so if guilty then expect a massive fine and a threat of points deductions if repeated.
