Who has said that, it is a logistical nightmare, it all sounds a little far fetched given the number of employees that Saints have and the amount of time it would take for all of them to produce those details, it would take months.
Plus why would they want records of where staff have stayed, for any given away game various members of staff not connected with the playing side of things will go to games as supporters and not on official business. |  |

If the club refuse to cooperate that will give Middlesbrough all the ammunition they need to take out private legal proceedings.
If they don't get what they consider to be a just outcome (a fine will not be enough) Gibson has already said he will take it further

Fact - speaking as the ex-Chairman of a League, a County FA Committee and an FA Joint Liaison Committee I can tell you that Leagues are no longer allowed to request copies of club bank accounts as part of the annual re-affiliation process. You therefore have zero chance of club employees being asked to submit details of their personal accounts. Payments out from the club as part of a disciplinary enquiry are a different matter but if they are going beyond last week (if as allegedly reported other clubs are starting to whine) this will take ages.
Personally I think the Football League will be praying Boro win this evening, that shuts most of the bed wetters up - but probably not that total arse Gibson. They could then issue a huge fine and possibly a suspended points deduction to run alongside the usual ‘cautioned & warned’ with regards to our future conduct. |  | | |

Whether it's clickbait or not, that's exactly what any sensible investigator would be doing.
Maybe not every staff members but certainly for anyone who works on the analysis side of things.
How else can they determine whether this Boro trip was a one-off or whether this type of thing has been systematic throughout the season.
Whether its one-off or systematic is going to make a big difference to the assessment of any offence and the likely the sanction. |  |
