I thought he looked very raw when he came on.
Bragg seemed to give the ball away a bit too much and I think he needs time to develop before he's a starter. Hes young and will improve. We looked much tighter with JWP in next to Downes - JWP needs to get match fit thought before he can replace Bragg as a starter. | | | |

I would have taken a draw before, so will not grumble now, but it is a bit frustrating that yet again we seem to have been slightly off colour. We need to try and find a bit more consistency.
Interesting to note we would be third without the cheating EFL points deduction. Also interesting to see we are second highest scorers already and with the second best GD.

Bragg is not up too it, loses possession far too often, we miss Jander big time

I wouldn't say it was a poor performance but more of an indifferent one. At times we looked quite good and Larin had a few chances which didn't seem to be going for him, but then again no one else looked like they were going to score. Peretz had a poor game in goal. At times he was very unsure and reminded me of his first few games with us. But our passing was astray and we looked a bit soft in midfield again. But, we did create chances and there were some good moments.
Birmingham was certainly equal to us and at times were the stronger side. Like Larin they missed a few good chances as well, so all in all, a draw seemed a fair result. Thus far I would say we have had an inconsistent start to the season performance wise, but we have certainly had a lot worse starts to the season in the past. We do need a win at Lincoln if we want to challenge at the top end. | | | |
