All of the ones in Carlton Place are excellent. Overdraft, Cricketers, Shenanigans are all great spots.
I'm fond of the London Road Brewhouse and Steingarten.
Need to try some of the pubs on the Bargate side of the city. Duke of Wellington, The Titanic and The Red Lion all look really good. |  |

For me it’s The Cricketers . Just a great atmosphere on match days . I used to use this pub before games at The Dell so it kind of feels like home to me. I used to like The Belgian blues bar too also The Lion Bedford place is ok and 5 Rivers is good too before games. |  |

For me, it's got to be the Guide Dog. Being in Bevois Valley it's not far to walk to the ground, has a range of Steam Town beers and lagers and a variety of guest ales. After that, of the new bars, my preference would be the Bottle & Stoat, also in Bedford Place. Small but, reasonably comfortable and usually four ales on handpump. |  | | |

Tend to rotate between Overdraft, Shenanigans, Five Rivers and Steingarten depending on whether it’s a weekend game and on the weather.
