Bragg over Jander is a poor choice

Jander was only supposed to play 30 minutes at Norwich but ended up playing 70. He has come back from an injury so needs to be managed. Downes is injured so guess it’s Bragg and JWP.

Correct choice today. Save Jander for West Ham, which will likely be alot harder for Bragg to handle than Bolton will be for him today.

It’s also odd that you can’t see why we have a squad of players who can rotate…

No Flynn Downes and now Larin having to go off after that clash with Bazunu means we're a little light on the pitch. That Scienza missed chance early on was disappointing. You'd expect a player of his ability to score but that's the way it goes sometimes.

Bolton are keeping a high line & catching us offside more times than I care to remember. A step up in effort and class second half needed. A very tight game and one that I would geefully take a 1-0 win from today. To coin a phrase ; It's all about the 3 points.

Absolute blatant penalty not given. The ref is either an EFL plant... or a c@nt... or both.

A couple of the players understandably look 'leggy' today - especially Azaz.

Well, those that don’t want to have VAR will have to suffer this kind of rubbish standards.

I’d rather the odd decision is got wrong than return to VAR which is a farce.

I'm with you on this and don't want VAR, but this wasn't an odd wrong decision, it was an absolute blatant c0ck up that the whole stadium could see, including the Bolton fans

Dobbin is a poor man's Nathan Redmond.
There's no way that we'll get promoted if we are relying on him to score goals because he won't.

Sorry i disagree
I love him as a player but he flatters to deceive quite often
Spends too much time waiting for the ball to arrive at his feet and loses out
And his final ball is disappointing at times
Plus I am not sure what was going on with he fellows wellington and Azaz in the first 45 all over the place switching positions and getting caught offside each time

Eckert in the past week has had an obsession with fitting as many (theoretical) wingers into his team as possible all while not utilising wingers. He’s allergic to strikers. Herr Eckert, please may you go back to your previous sanity: play a striker. Larin comes off and we’re back to sh*t.

We ended the game with Dobbin up front and Maksuki in central midfield. At one point Wellington was up front. What is going on.

“Why do you doubt me?” Perhaps Blackmore’s questioning was right, oddly.

It’s called rotation of positions, look at any of the top teams and they do it, especially when playing against stubborn teams with 11 behind the ball. Also look where Bree played again, the right back sometimes as high up the pitch as the forwards with Wellington sometimes into midfield. The plan was clearly to play on the shoulders of the Bolton defence and get the the ball in quickly behind their often high line, presumably because we thought they were slow on the turn. Sometimes it worked, especially first half when we caught them square several times playing forward quickly; it inevitably meant we were also caught offside often too when they stepped up. Ultimately we weren’t quite good enough today but I couldn’t fault the approach and Bolton earned a well deserved draw.
