Well that was pretty poor from so many aspects
Think the Smyth up top experiment as run it's course as it not working. In fact not sure what JS is wanting out of this team, but it is not working

Funnily enough the midfield was looking pretty decent. Both Vale and Varane were having a good first 30 odd minutes, but we looked pretty clueless to be honest up top.
I'm also not sure what it is against shooting from distance... the goal was a shot from distance and the only time we tested their keeper was the same.. honestly think we need to shoot more
.
Think we have to pull Saito and bring on poku... push Smyth out wide and leave Kone up top on his own...
Don't think it will be too long before we see Chair but who for will be interesting.... possibly Smyth

Yep. Despite playing well at 0-0 restricting them to one shot we did not convert a few periods of "danger". Their goal certainly took all the wind from our sails.
Need to attack with purpose to get shots away. Too much trying to walk it into their net at the mo.

Smash and grab stuff. I thought we were ok except for the hardest, the shot on goal. One small mistake, a decent shot and we're one nil down, but I think we can get something out of this game.

Everyone needs to take a shot on more, Kamara again had a chance or two tonight but played the pass instead.

Been 13 months since we’ve turned a halftime deficit around to a win I think.
1-0 down to Bristol City and then Kone / Smyth robbed us a win in the second half.
I see nothing out there tonight to suggest anything other than a mixed bag season and a struggle through the tough winter months.
