Feel free to ban me for doing such a thing, but are we all keeping 'up to date' with their news.

Apparently 'Bury Are Back' and there will be a 'Revolution at Gigg Lane'.

Oh I wish every club could have someone to pay off their ridiculous spending debts.

The revolution begins, but none of the fans are invited. Sorry.

GOOD START

Bury FC's board of directors have suspended Thursday's meeting with fans. They've issued this statement on their website:

It is with regret that unfortunately the board of Directors have to suspend Thursday night’s meeting at the Social Club.

The board of directors are still in protracted negotiations with potential investors, and we would prefer to meet with supporters as soon as any concrete plans are forthcoming.

We apologise most sincerely for this late cancellation and hope that all supporters will understand and have the best interests of the football club at heart.

Good start? I don't understand?
You've plucked this from a month ago when negotiations were taking place?

I too am very underwhelmed with takeover and a bit skeptical of true reasons for this with him being a property developer. It's fairly obvious he's got his eyes on the land owned by the club i.e. Gigg and lower gigg. He isn't going to make a profit on bury unless he has radical idea's and he has no affinity to club.
If his plans are to knock main stand down, build on the remaining land which includes car park, small new stand, hotel, casino. then that could make him some cash. other than that i have no idea. A large part of the land was gifted by the earl of derby to bury fc, on the pretense that it was only for the use of sporting events. Whether this went when the club went into admin on 2003 and reformed i don't know.
my biggest hope is he has some other backers with more cash and he is used as front as he doesn't look to have a large amount of cash so not to increase players wage demands.
Only time will tell

And therefore accelerating the decline... less revenue (you aint gonna get more fans on the back of this).

Once Day has ruined the club, he can build his new block of methadone villas or what have you.

He's given the budget to kb, I'm sure he's savvy enough on the finances front,5 yr plan, Fenton had us on the brink, if it goes tits up in 12 months as you lot are predicting, it's a year more than we would've had with Fenton and co. keep calm and wish mr s day all the best, uts

Just mentioned this to gigger, we got charged £20 at dale 3/4 yrs back, think you played Stockport a few weeks before and it was 3 or 4 quid cheaper, hope you and others pay the same as us and we get decent away followings, BFC pro-active at last

Unless we charged fans in the main stand different amounts for these games, how did this happen? And when exactly?
