Everton fans are not in a good mood judging by Saturday none of them have any confidence in their club, although im not sure they know who to blame.
Interesting to see that their form of protest is a lot more physical than ours, we have spent the last few months just moaning on social media, reading the press they seem to have thrown a metal barrier through the glass doors in their reception, got the CEO in a headlock, issued so many death threats that their board was banned from going to Saturdays game as their safety couldnt not be guaranteed.
Also got themselves organised, plenty of banners and of course the sit in after the game.
Moshiri is blamed, although he has pumped in around £800 million in transfer fees and is building them a new ground, but some are worried that he may pull his money leaving them with a half built ground and no money to complete it.
Bill Kenwright bears a lot of the brunt, but he is now a minority shareholder and i cant see why he should be blamed, perhaps Solent Toffee can enlighten me
Frank Lampard doesn't get too much of the blame, despite the fact that he and his players are the ones losing games, he signed 6 players in the summer for something approaching £100 million again, although £60 million of that was funded by the sale of Richarlison
If Everton go down they could be in big trouble financially

You seem to be saying that we should be getting a bit more 'physical' instead of 'just moaning' on the internet, yes?

Physical protest does not necessarily mean "Violent" protest, cant remember too many people who moaned on social media actually doing anything other than that, I cant remember even a banner protesting about Gao or Hasenhuttl

Everton are in a complete mess, on and off the field and when they are in such a mess, people need someone or something to vent at.
Moshiri is the obvious target because he has hired and then fired the managers and directors of football who have overseen a hopeless recruitment strategy. The current squad (social media gobshite attacks aside) don’t get too much stick because it’s clear they are trying, they’re just not good enough.
Lampard gets a pass because he has inherited the mess although logic thought would suggest he will go this week, who gets the gig though is anyone’s guess.
And that leaves Kenwright and his board who will get stick, in the main because they don’t appear to have any ambition and are happy for Everton to plod along.
That’s really simplifying it though. The whole thing is a mess and not one person/thing is to blame.
To sum it up though, Everton are still paying wages for a few hundred worth of ‘talent’ known of whom have played much for the club, if at all, in years. Andre Gomes, Moise Kean, Phillip Gbamin, Dele Alli, to name but few.
The stadium is the only thing keeping most fans going. I don’t agree that they will be in shitcreek if they go down. I think Moshiri will be personally as he has his money tied into the club and whilst he is looking to sell, he isn’t going to get as much as he thinks he will.
Anyway, I’m on the look out for a new hobby!

What would have been the point? Gao never even came into the country, must less SMS so I can't imagine a few bedsheets with abuse written poorly on them would have had much effect on his thoughts.

I can see why Moshiri gets stick as you say he is doing the hiring and firing, I cant see why Kenwright is getting stick, he may be the figurehead but he is just running things to the budget that he is getting from Moshiri.
Lampard has inherited a mess, but from a squad viewpoint he signed 5 players in the summer for a total outlay of around £100 million plus Tarkowski on a free and he bought in Delle Ali last january.
So it is not as if he has been given no money and has not bought anyone in, on paper there are a lot of players in the squad who have done it on the field both for Everton and/or other clubs , why are the likes of Calvert-Lewin and Anthony Gordon failing to recapture their form of the past ? Why is Neil Maupay so good at Brighton so bad at Everton, the manager has to take some of the blame here

How about supporting The Saints? 😂
I used to attend most Saints games in the championship years (on the way down) and it was great. Walk to the ground and be in the pub/home in no time. If Saints get relegated I might start doing it again.
Do you know what though, I’ve have been to more Eastleigh games this season than Everton and enjoyed it infinitely better.

Lampard has brought in 5 players but the reality is he probably needed about 10, especially with DCL’s recent injury record.
He’s far from blameless though as the results since the restart have shown.
I don’t think Everton are foaming at the mouth or jamming the airwaves to get him sacked, not that they think he’s the right man for the job, more the fact that most think it’s a lost cause and there’s not many managers who can turn this around.
Most of my family and friends have given up. It’s become a purile experience and most are resigned to the inevitable and just hope Moshiri sells up soon.
the trouble with everton and there fans is they think there a big club and there just not, there just an average club like all the rest living in the shadow of the big 6/7

Saints fans were on the verge of an Everton style protest had we kept losing, but Saints got a few wins, so obviously it hasn't happened.
I think the protests do have an impact, as it kicks them up the arse (players, manager, board and all). It might make Everton act and I think the booing and negativity against Forest, forced Saints to act with early January signings (usually unheard of).

I don’t think Everton fans think that they are a ‘big club’, in the year 2023 that title is given out by the balloons association with Sky Sports and the millions of football fans who have never set foot in a football stadium yet have lots of things to say on social media (that’s not a dig at you).
I don’t see Everton as a big club, I see them as my club, a great club with a great identifying and a history to be proud of going back generations. And the current clowns in charge don’t understand or reflect that.

No offence to ST but ive hated Everton since 1981 and this moment. I would have been 8 at the time and was allowed to stay up and listen to it on the radio with my mum. Very late winner in extra time. Adrian Heath years later made me hate them more!
Everton are a big club on the basis of the size of their fan base, their passion and football appreciation, their potential , history of trophies won (even in my life time), their financial backing and their stadium.
