| Well now that we’re down, what’s left to be decided? 22:25 - May 8 with 2481 views | SFC_Referee | Well there you have it! Championship is basically confirmed now. As I myself was fairly certain we were going down after the Palace loss, but the only questions left are who’s going down with us, who’s gonna be replacing Selles and who’s going to be going where in the summer? Although I don’t think that going down is such a bad thing as I do think a year down in the championship will be a good way to rebuild, get some identity and momentum back with us, and help us to get in the players we need whilst getting rid of those that we don’t. | |

| Well now that we’re down, what’s left to be decided? on 22:26 - May 8 with 2466 views | SFC_Referee | I do hope we remove Selles soon though, and I do hope we can get the likes of Potter or even Rodger’s to replace Ruben, as at least they could try and get some identity around us. And at least these are the sorta managers we’ve all heard of and actually know, rather than one which no one’s heard of and is a right gamble. For who’s joining us, my moneys on us, Leeds and Leicester going down, which isn’t the worst as I wouldn’t mind seeing Everton going down with us and Leicester, but I think they’ll just about stay up and even then that’s not necessarily a bad thing seeing how they’d only make promotion even harder next season if they did go down with us. So overall I think that Leicester and Leeds would be a decent combo, as we’d still be the one with the most parachute payments and would have a decent enough chance of going back up. And transfer wise, well it’ll certainly be one of the most interesting ones we’ve seen for a while, as we’ll get to see of whether sports republic do care or not, and how much they’ll be giving us or are they just gonna ditch/forget about us now that we’re relegate. For who’s leaving, I’d say that it’s only Lavia, Prowse and KWP who are certain to go, but it’s just a question of who else will? As will we be able to keep hold of Bednerak, Livermento, Alcaraz, Stu, Che, Salisu and a few others. Although I wouldn’t mind the likes of Elynousie and a few others going! But for any that do go, it’ll also be interesting to see of who they’re replaced with and whether or not for once we do actually get in the players we do need and not the cheap rubbish versions. | |

Theres going to be a summer of upheaval and no guarantee any ofthe decisions will be right. We will getthe parachute money so kefs hope they use it wisely. Then again - dare I say - do we wanna come back up? Without massive riches we will either be carrion for the big 7 vultures to pick clean, or cannon fodder for Sky's Super Sunday where we get battered by Man City.

Over the last couple of years we have become very used to losing. Turning that around and getting back to winning ways is not going to be easy, whoever is in charge.

Just because Forest beat us, doesn't mean they'll stay up. Everybody beats us. Forest and Leicester are still the next worst teams after us.

Saints seem to have forgotten how to win games and that has to be changed otherwise the downward spiral will continue into next season.

Leeds are also trash though, and looking at who they’ve got left to play, they’ve got no chance of staying up and will finish in 19th

Well Selles has said that he wants to be at the club for the next 10 years, so yes, definitely hold fire !! :-) ......2 points from a possible 27 suggest otherwise of course, but this is Saints that we are talking about here, so anything could happen !! ....and what could possibly go wrong ?
