I can see potential with Mara, the problem with music is that i don't see or hear enough up and coming bands to give much of an opinion, so with Victorious I can only comment on the bands i know.

My missus is at Let's Rock. She goes and enjoys it every year. I'd happily watch some of the acts they've had over the years (Human League, ABC, Heaven 17, Kim Wilde, The Farm, Clare Grogan), but not some of the other dross.
Incidentally Nick, for new bands, I mentioned The Reytons to you. They remind me of when the Arctic Monkeys were young and raw. Also, Paul Heaton's set from Glasgow is on Iplayer. With Jacqui Abbott still missing (which is both sad and worrying), Rianne Downey is standing in. We saw her support Michael Head & TREB last summer. That was one of the finest gigs I have seen in years |  | | |

None of those are rock acts, just light weight pop music, I saw Iron Maiden at the AO last week, proper rock band. Bonamasa and then John Fogerty a couple of weeks before.
