Seems like a great appointment for Wolves. Bournemouth sack him when he impressively kept them up last season. Looks like Bournemouth might go down this season.

As with Scott Parker, a lot of Boscombe fans didn’t particularly like O’Neil, as they thought the football was dour.

I would have had O’Neil here in the summer…..

On the day that Saints win without the majority of the possession, Wolves beat Man City with 32% possession and Villa beat Brighton 6-1 with 38% possession.

It's almost as if you don't actually need to have the majority of possession to win football games if you have a smart game plan! Who would have thought it??!!?

Majority Possession is fine if most of it is in your opponent’s half with an end product.

My worry is that yesterday was a must win game and some of the principles were dropped to make sure we got the win. I hope RM doesn't revert back to total possession based football when we win a few games (hopefully) and the pressure is off.

I hope we keep to the same team selection and tactics.
Sulemana has great pace and terrorized Leeds with it.
S.Armstrong is a steading influence in the midfield.
Alcaraz has skill and wants to be involved.
Bazunu looked so much better kicking the ball long and not passing to a defender deep in our half.
Build on the confidence the win gave us,please don't change back to the way we were playing.

Sulemana is an absolute class act, hope we can keep hold of him in January. Armstrong and Alacaraz, yes both were excellent in midfield. Good to see Bazunu getting better, his distribution is definitely really good and he starting to gain some confidence and some swagger that goes with it. I sincerely hope we don't go back to the passing around our six yard box. On Saturday, we did it a bit, but got rid up the field or row Z as soon as they pressed. It worked a treat.

Class act in the Championship maybe, but still has to be worked on which a decent coach would be able to do to help improve him.
Agree re Bazuma, that performance actually looks like they have been working on his distribution definitely
So let's see the team for tomorrow night to see if RM has actually learnt anything from the weekend. Stoke scored a couple of decent goals with a decent win in Bristol Saturday so could be a test on a cold Tuesday night!
