I am first to agree that Sulemana didn't have a good game on Friday, but there were a number of times he was out wide when we could have played balls for him to run on to, and play to his strengths. instead he got dragged into our slow lethargic build up.
When he is given quality balls to chase or run at defenders, his speed causes problems for opponents. They also become wary of his speed.
I can't recall a single occasion on Friday where he ran at defenders ?
We seem to be happy with him on or around half way line playing tippy, tappy football or when we do get in opponents box they (not just Sulemana) want to walk it in the goal instead of shooting. [Post edited 31 Mar 2024 19:27]

Che Adams is a proven decent striker for this league having scored many goals for us and Birmingham . He’s more than capable of scoring a couple today. Mara misses just as many as Adams and is equally frustrating.
I would leave Armstrong and Adams up front.
I would also start with Aribo and Rothwell who have both played very well when called upon recently and been two of our best players. [Post edited 1 Apr 2024 8:19]
