Great game.

Champions League knockout games are great.
The league not so.

PSG v Villa tonight.
Should be a good one.

We thought that we had the answers, It was the questions we had wrong.

Got to agree.

Rice's two extraordinary free kicks in the space of 15mins, having never scored a direct free kick before, was the sort of football moment that comes along once every 10 years or more.

Wonderful stuff.

Lewis-Skelly looked a real gem last night, I thought.

You wouldn't rule Real Madrid out though.

Arsenal are wholly capable of choking out there.

Disappointingly, I heard that Arsenal's win last night means that a 5th Champions League place is guaranteed for an English team.

Good news for Newcastle. Bad news for football.

Would love to see Villa win it.

Newcastle still have to play Villa away and Arsenal away so I sincerely hope they lose both those games and Villa nick the 5th place CL spot, sadly it will probably give Citeh a CL reprieve. Could well go to the last day which means with the title done & dusted it will give MOTD another opportunity to fu@k about switching between matches for those in contention as the goals go in. So damned irritating but they do it every season…

It was a tremendous performance. One of those great European nights. I was amazed when, after the second one went in, the commentator said Declan Rice had never scored from a direct free-kick before, in more than 370 games. What a game to do it in: twice!

Saka is so important for Arsenal. Let's hope he's fit to play in Madrid. They're going to need him.

Wasn’t the idea of an extra place pushed through by the neural UEFA fella David Gill, ex of Man United. Watch out for a last minute change at the end of the season when the club that finishes 13th go straight into the CL.

It will be dead exciting for Sky.

Ironic if Gill ends up gifting a place to Man City.
If ManUre had managed to have an even worse season than they have done and finished 18th then the last minute change for next season would be a CL place for the Championship winners, double irony, Southampton 😀
ManUre runners up …
