These two matches were a credit to the Championship but no-one can deny that apart from the the first 45 mins when Boro battered us we were the better side.
For the remaining 90 odd minutes we dominated Boro & thoroughly deserved to beat them.
For the last 30 minutes they were legless, like a boxer on the ropes & we just kept them penned into their own half.

Whilst what is alleged is cheating, it is not on a grand scale and the media fuelled by the rantings of Kim Hellberg who is desperate to keep his job have blown it out of all proportion.
The actual benefits are minimal and if Boro are so concerned that no one sees their training sessions then why on earth do they have a training ground which is accessible to the public on a big leisure complex with a hotel and golf course.
The guy was caught and all footage deleted, so although the intention might have been there, no crime was committed and thus Boro can't claim that we knew their top secret plans hatched by Hellberg that would have been a revelation to world football once he used them to destroy us completely in both games. |  |

I disagree with this.
First an attempt to commit a crime is still, in a lot of cases, a crime. Otherwise, anyone caught before the actual commission of an act could claim no crime was committed, which is not the point.
Secondly, if the rule (or even unwritten rule) is that managers should not be looking at each others training sessions then they should each be entitled to expect that to be honoured. Being watched by members of the public is not the same, and if that rules allows training to happen without high walls being erected then that's a good thing. It's good rule and (if we did) we shouldn't have messed with it.
It's skullduggery and we should be better than that.
I think there's more to this story which will come out. But if it it doesn't we need to take it on the chin rather than try to make excuses for ourselves. |  |

Agreed. If the club is guilty then we need to hold our hands up and admit a big mistake. We don't deserve to be thrown out of the competition but we would deserve some level of punishment if guilty. Learn from your mistakes and move on. | | | |
