Spurs were their main rivals for the London Stadium. West ham fans were happy to beat them to it. Nobody could know the way things would turn out, as it really had seemed very good when it was used for the Olympics. I remember fans of other clubs, including ours, saying they were jammy bastards, getting a big free stadium like that, and most thought it would give them a huge financial advantage. Spurs ended up having to pay more than a billion for a new stadium.
It's a bit like Pompey fans complaining about their owners taking them into administration, when they were only too happy to have the FA Cup bought for them with their dodgy, no questions asked, finance.
What will be interesting is if the FA ban Tonda having allegedly knew about accusations about Sullivan for years but failed to act. It will be cases like this and others that will come in the future that will illustrate how disproportionate our punishment was.

There is also another claims of rape, but the girl had previously taken money from Sullivan for sex.
FA PL would have been fully aware of his background and didnt stop the west ham takeover and allowing hin to run it.

Libel laws are a notoriously high bar to jump so he is to a large extent bluffing. Hell. Trump sued the BBC for $10 billion...how's that case progressing I wonder?
Sullivan and Gold have given fodder to the chattering classes in pubs for ever. I can remember clearly the suggestions that the Met top brass were probably in on the whole porn scene via their Masonic networks. Who knows, nobody was accused at the time cos there was no evidence.

It’s a non story in that everyone knew the guy is a sleaze merchant of the highest order. He’s also an arrogant plonker - most people on the Sunday Times Rich List (which is essentially a catalogue for would be thieves and kidnappers) do their utmost not to be in there, whereas this dimwit actually complained he’d been undervalued!
Also the evidence presented last night was incredibly weak - there’s no way that is sufficient to get any kind of conviction.
Frankly I’m surprised he resigned if that’s all Panorama had.
How he thinks he can sue the BBC is ridiculous - last night’s programme didn’t in any way diminish his reputation, it merely reinforced the public’s existing impression.

Its all a bit hearsay and the use of actors and the one that did turn up on camera is a conspiracy fruitloop attention seeker, who actually posed for the Daily sport paper aftert this alleged Sullivan meeting.
