I put this list up on another thread, but let's open the debate.
If you think Gavin Bazunu is the worst Saints keeper ever then here is a random list of names of past custodians from 1970 onwards who were perhaps worse.
I have just included those who were genuine first team regulars for a while and not short term loan keepers or those who got a game or two as deputy.
So can you put up a case for them being better than Bazunu, (Ok i might accept Kelvin Davis for those 3 seasons)

I didn’t rate Bazunu but never felt he was our worst ever- he made 90 odd appearances and was part of the record undefeated run. I wish him no ill will and I hope he gets a warm reception tomorrow. In terms of who was worse, I’d say Gazziniga and Gunn. Don’t think Andrews perhaps played enough games to qualify but I’d probably say him as the worst. Admittedly the final 4 were before my time. |  | | |

Came in to replace a very young Tim Flowers who'd lost confidence and then mentored him into becoming the keeper he was. He also put Ossie Ardiles on his arse during a 2-1 win over Spurs on Boxing Day in 1987, that if nothing else means he can't be the worst |  |

Although he was arguably the best defensive wing half we ever had, Cliff Huxford was probably the worst keeper.
In the pre subs days an injury to the keeper meant an outfielder had to fill in. Huxford was the designated "scapegoat" between 1961 and 1965.
In the 1961 league cup game vs Leeds we got 4 up before Huxford shipped 4 , only for a late winner for us from Derek Reeves...who incidentally scored all 5 that night.
Fun fact...Huxford's last stint as emergency stopper was in 1965....versus....can you guess..The fish molesters. | | | |
