You’re a good lad A1079! It was a cracking shot and knee slide from Adams which I very much enjoyed. I think he’ll come good and might even benefit from Ings being out of the team for a bit. Ings is obviously our best striker but with Ings going off the boil I think we’ve been relying on him too heavily and this is a good opportunity to change things up. Adams’ finishing still needs work but he’s young enough to improve and clearly thrives on confidence.
As for my forum name, that is staying regardless. Even if Ings leaves us his knee slide in front of the Fratton End against the circus down the road will forever be the greatest SFC knee slide unless Prowsey gets a last minute winner in the FA Cup final in May.

I like SaintNick's idea. I think I would have to choose something related to Mick Channon Nick because for all the players I have seen play for Saints, he is still the one that I have fond memories of watching - so I guess something like TheChannonWindmill. Though something like there is nosweeperlikeagboola is perhaps a more interesting forum name but probably one the younger generation on here may not understand or appreciate. | | | |
