Bazunu - looks a prospect. Has a presence about him, and he couldn’t do much about the goals. Needs to practise his kicking though.

Lavia - looks a class act, but backheel turns in our own penalty area 😳

Aribo - I think he could be a key player this season; I like that he looks versatile.

KWP and JWP; as usual.

But that’s about it, I fear.

Unfortunately, if we can't score goals and can't defend, it really doesn't matter if we have a few "prospects" in midfield. Adams on the bench and then playing Stuart Armstrong up front. It's ridiculous at the beginning of a season, not to have a striker!!

I hear you.

And to think we won up there last season with an utterly superb performance and Broja at his unplayable best.

Spurs have strengthened, but they really weren’t that good today. And yet they could still easily have won by 8 or 9….

And they still have Richarlison, Perisic and the other new ones to add to that side. It's just so depressing that we have no chance do we.

We do have a chance.

It’s only 11 v 11 ultimately.

If the team are properly prepared and coached, they have every chance.

Fulham shouldn’t have had a chance against Liverpool today, but could have won in the end.

In the end though, long term, it's the same result. Fulham might ride on a wave this season like Brentford did last season, Huddersfield before and us when Ralph first came in. We beat Spurs last season as a one off but overall, these teams win the race. The gap is getting bigger and bigger in the PL, but it's definitely heading towards needing a new voice on the dressing room, we can't keep getting beat heavily.

Spend £30 million on Conor Coady and get a couple of decent strikers on loan.

Keep Che Adams.

Would give us a chance.

We won't though will we? We just never do
We spend money on youngsters as a gamble and its 50/50 at best
We have just scraped by but the lack f addressing our appalling defending is going to cost us this year
I like Ralph but its clear he is clueless where certain aspects are concerned and there is literally no difference today than in March

All well and good beating Spurs away last season but then losing at home to Palace, Watford and Newcastle.

We thought that we had the answers, It was the questions we had wrong.

We have 3 strikers, Adam Armstrong, Che Adams and the new guy Mara. Aribo can play up front and Stuart Armstrong has been used further forward in pre season as he can score goals. Sadly none are of the quality of Ings when he was flying and aren’t of the quality needed to do it week in weeks out in the EPL. We were killed off by the final balls into the box yesterday and a stupid schoolboy error by Salisu. We don’t have the players to provide the quality chances that the top teams have and we have too many players who make critical mistakes in key areas. Ralph face said it all after the 3rd goal went in. The gap between the top teams and the rest is getting bigger every year. You can do so much with effort and commitment but without that level of ability at this level teams like us will always be also rans. It was clear yesterday that Spurs could go up a gear or two whereas we were flat out. The substitutions at half time didn’t help at all, in fact they made things worse. Perhaps it is time to stop trying to be too clever with formations and go back to a solid 442 to try and fill the gaps that teams like Spurs can exploit so well? The formation change was clearly brought in to stop leaking so many goals but it hasn’t worked so far and we still look as fragile at the back as we did last season. What makes matters worse is that we now have less of a goal threat too. We know that Adam Armstrong can score but we don’t get him in the right positions and provide him with the kind of service that he needs. It is no surprise that we lost to a superior Spurs team on the opening day of the season but a better idea of where we are will come against Leeds and it is clear that we still have a lot to do in all areas of the pitch.

Most points made there lead to one conclusion.
Hassenhutl does not have a clue what he's doing, and he's too arrogant to to listen to other opinions.
